i was surprised and lost it!!!! having moved in near by it was my fourth time ordering. some good some ok but for the most part good pizza. until tonight, i ordered the g pizza as i did before, picked it up came home, opened it up had one piece, then something caught my eye, then another, little white worms or maggots with their black heads twitching. i really don?t know how they survived the oven, and the 15 min before i started eating, but there they where.
immediately returning to the store i got my money back, the two young girls looked shocked, but who knows if their going do anything about it. by this time i could only find one but it leaves you wondering how many there where before it went into the oven definatly never going back!!!! leaving it to the maggot lovers.

Really good pizza, actually i am eating it now, delicious and on time 15 min after i called it was ready to go, and they made it exactly as i asked, not many places get it right. i will go back many time. very recommended.

I'm surprised that there are ant negative comments here at all. this is one of the best pizzas around, and if you think it's too expensive, then run along to pizza hut and eat some cardboard.

Burnt and oily

Brought 2 pizza's from trigg pizza last night. it was burnt !, not the base but the few toppings that were on the pizza, how does that work ?
i also thought that the pizza was way over priced for what you get, they both had little to no toppings and the base was like eating a spounge soaked with oil.
also to be noted the lady on the phone when i ordered and picked up was very rude, no customer service skills at all.
i have since last night read a review posted that we reviewers have to much time to on our hands to be posting comments about this lesser establishment.
hang on a minute, how come its okay for that person (possibly an employee) to spend the time to review but no-one else ? - yeah right !
there's a saying in the kitchen that chef's use (that's what i am): if you can't handle the critic get out of the kitchen.
time to change your attitude and menu plan trigg pizza.

The title says it all. i regularly get trigg pizza, it has never been cold, undertopped or late. the extensive variety always provides something everyone will like. as for the service, the employees are always helpful and friendly. even when they have clearly been flat out busy they have taken the time to smile and wish me a good night. they're definitely not sexist, or cows, contrary to some views (which i'm sure is a minority opinion judging by how busy the store always is). just because there aren't any males working at the counter does not make it a sexist business, one shouldn't be so quick to judge. i also happen to know it is only open till midnight, and only then on a friday and saturday, and in summer. in conclusion, sitting at the beach watching the sunset with a good trigg pizza to eat is one of my favourite passtimes, and i definitely reccommend it to all.

Just got two large pizzas one works and one mexican and they were very disapointing they had less topping then dominos and cost twice as much would have got more value and satisfaction from a toasted cheese sandwich at a lunchbar then this joke a pizza store

I live locally to the trigg store, i have had at least a dozen pizza's from the trigg store over the course of three years, all very disappointing and way over priced for what you get.
minimal topping combinations don't always make a great pizza, something trigg needs to learn.
people like a pizza that actually has toppings on it, not just a base a sprinkling of cheese and a few minuscule pieces of vegetable and meat.
as for the staff, rude, un-friendly cows is how i would best describe them both on the phone and in person.
i find it disgusting that the owners have chosen to discriminate against males, in not employing any males to work behind the counter.
i have had my own family boycott against the store since mid last year, i prefer the pizzas from the many stores in scarborough (except mojos) over trigg.

When i ordered these pizzas they came semi-cold, drenched in oil and could have been cooked better (we ended up putting them in our oven!!) and they cost an arm and a leg. we went to pick them up and found the atmosphere and service could have had a makeover, and i dont think employing all girls will cut it. i too am in support of the boycott ,after reading of the poor soul below, for both trigg pizza stores.

I love the pizza from this shop. it is much fresher and tastier than the chain pizza places. i've only ever had home delivery so can't comment on the atmosphere. delivery usually takes 30 to 40 mins, which is no different for our local dominoes.

Please disregard the boycott review. they didn't even try the pizza and are just venting off their own steam. as someone who used to work for a pizza store there is a very good reason they don't deliver to hospitals. there is no parking and delivering takes a good 10-15 minutes.
my recent experience was wonderful. we made a alrge order and was told it would take a little longer than normal. however it arrived in under the quoted time. the pizza was hot and covered with plentiful toppings. while more expensive than the commercial chains it was far more filling (i can generally eat a whole pizza hot ro dominoes pizza and still be hungry whereas i didn't even finish this behemoth of a pizza).
they have a wide selection of types of pizza from the mundane to the quite odd.
everything is hand made and cooked in a proper pizza oven given them a great texture and the bases come out well cooked.
will defintly be buying from in the future!
