Thank you for a great first time experience my red curry beef was absolutely beautiful, flavours perfect, thai being top of my favourite foods i will be back for sure with all my family and friends cheers

We ordered a pad thai and a pad se u and it was that bad that we took it straght back and got our money back, the owner didn't seem concerned. we are locals in ocean grove and have noticed the standard of food get progressively worse! tonight was the last straw. we will not return to this restaurant nor recommend it to anyone. it is very dissapointing that the lean cuisine chicken pad thai was tastier than this so called thai restuarant. do yourself a favour and choose another local restaurant.

 Very disappointing

Rang for a booking. heard a lovely message saying they really would return our call. never did. showed up and place was almost empty. staff were pleasant, but sneaking every moment to use their iphones to chat to friends. supposedly authentic thai curries are actually made with cheap chicken stockcontaining gluten, meaning we couldn't eat them (this was part of the message we left that wasn't returned). we know a lot about thai food. it is normally made with fresh natural ingredients and chicken powder is cheating and very much inferior to even garden variety thai cooking. the food we did order was extremely bland in flavour. the vegetables and seafood were, however, fresh. it was very expensive for what it was, in our view. we'll go elsewhere next time.

Easily the best

As a regular to this restaurant, i have eaten here collectively on every day of the week it's open and the standard never changes. quality food, excellent service everytime! i will continue to come to thai mekong for my weekly thai food fix for as long as it stays open! family friendly, do yourself a favor and try it.

Just got back from an awesome meal of duck red curry form thai mekong. beautiful food, friendly service and licensed. will be going back for sure.
