I lived in port macquarie 30 years ago and at that time, my father and i realised that sun hing was the worst chinese restaurant in port macquarie and swore never to use it.
unfortunately, i thought this may have changed and recently ordered take away.
it was by far the worst chinese i have ever eaten. the one meal i order whenever i have chinese is sweet & sour chicken. i am yet to have a dish that i could not eat, but sun hing changed that. it smelt like pure vinegar and none of us could eat it. not even my starving teenagers who are very undiscerning in what they eat.
the mongolian lamb (another dish i regular order from chinese restuarants) had so much oil floating around it was revolting.
the steamed dim sims were dry on the outside (how did they manage that!) and saltier than any dim sims i have ever eaten.
the prawn toast was also dry and below par.
the only dish we ate and enjoyed was the beef and snow peas.
as my father and i decided 30 years ago - never again!

We had a really tasty dinner, but when we got home we were extremely thirsty and then i had quite a severe allergic reaction. i.e.. swelling, blotches etc.
i can only assume there was msg in the food, which was disappointing and potentially very dangerous.

We get a home delivery every week and i must say the service is excellent. the food always arrives hot and is so good. value for money when feeding a family.

I find the food is delicously yum oh, have the take away but do like eating in the restaurant. the girls are great and the phone service is great too... never had a bad meal there yet...
