Was staying in a motel 10 mins away. called up to place the order (had to repeat the order 3 times, he said the computer wasn't working) gave him name and number (which i think would be in case there is a problem with the delivery). he said it would be 45mins to 1 hour. the food never arrived and we were never contacted. so can't give the food a review but the service is shit.

I have been ordering pizza from sublime occassionally over the past 6 months and have found it to be very hit and miss. the pizza varies from one of the best pizza's i have ever eaten to fairly average. the service however is a problem. several times i have called to order and been told that they don't deliver to our area either because it's too far (even though they have before and it is within 10kms of their shop and specified as within the delivery area on their website) or because their staff are sick and they aren't delivering to outlying regions (again we live 5minutes out of the cbd...). when they have delivered we have waited up to two hours when we were told 45minutes. they also claim to open late but their kitchen has been closed at 10pm on a saturday night...

Dear hummer phobic !!!
besides the fact that you obviously have way too much time on your hands, clearly you are uninformed on several issues.
let me set you straight !!!
it surely must have come to your attention that george bush is no longer the president of the united states!!!
but anyhoo!
firstly the hummer doesn't even belong to the owner of the pizza business.
the vehicle has never been used to deliver pizzas.
this particular model of hummer ( the h3 ), uses an average of 14.5 litres of fuel per 100 km.
a common holden rodeo actually uses 0.5 litres of fuel per 100km more than the h3.
the american mlitary hummer has an average fuel consumption of 26 litres of fuel per 100km. ( i'm sure you're smart enough to equate that practically half the fuel used by the h3 )!!!
unless you ride a push bike or drive a toyota prius, you might want to get your head out of the iraqi sand!!!
and shall i say in closing "he who protesteth too much!"!!!

now hummers are on the streets of the united states, too. just as the bush administration plays on americans' fears of terrorism and tries to make us believe that the iraq war made the world safer, so do hummer ad campaigns play on people's fears by using images of apocalypse and destruction. they also try to make americans believe that we are safer in large, gas-guzzling vehicles like the hummer, despite clear evidence that hummers are a danger both to their passengers and other drivers.
hummers are horribly destructive to the environment. with an environmental protection agency rating of two out of ten, because of the hummer's average gas mileage of nine miles per gallon, it is not difficult to see how hummers hurt the environment through their astronomical consumption of fossil fuels. oil consumption is a major contributor to pollution and global warming. hummers literally threaten the very air our children breathe.
additionally, the hummer is fueling this country's dependence on oil, which ends up pushing the u.s. into conflicts around the world, most recently iraq.
to top it all off, small business owners who purchase hummers receive a $100,000 tax break under bush's new economic stimulus plan. this same plan only grants a tax break of $4,000 for the toyota prius hybrid. hummers cost upwards of $55,000, which means that yet again wealthier individuals (the only people able to afford a $55,000 car) receive disproportionately more in tax breaks.

Hey...just a big kudos to the crew @ sublime......we are huge pizza fans & tried it for the first time last night & it was unbelievable.
we were out hunting for bbq ribs & had a hankering for them, but to no avail couldn't find a place who was doing them, so we decided to go here for pizza instead.
the toppings were fresh,plentiful & very tasty, the base was nice, light & awesome.
blue tongue beer on tap too impressed big time.
would like to get my hands on their stereo to add my personal touch to the atmosphere & the inclusion of ribs on the menu would see me return twice a week, but all up a really surprising night out................well done you lot!

Read the reviews, is a hummer bad?? not really. do i care about the enviroment? the simple answer yes!! do i like good food thats has great vaule for money yes. and i that silly that i wil not eat some where because of the owners car. na mate!!
really! let go of yourself! the food was fantasic!! a nice chill and relaxed place to eat. this has to bet one of the best places i have eaten in hobart. high quality food and a great prices and you will not go home hungery!!

I recently saw outside the sublime pizzeria hummer. i now refuse to go to this place as we are in a time of carbon crisis. we have almost reached the point of no return whilst a resturant in hobart uses an armored vehicle, more like a truck to deliver pizza. we need pizza's in hobart not iraq. i hope the hummer is the first to sink when we are al under water.

We go to sublime nearly every friday for our work lunch and every time we have a fantastic pizza, i love them! i was shocked to read the recent review as my pizza has never been greasy. i admit though, service is quite bad and they seem to be understaffed on the busy lunch hour. but i won't complain, it is not a restaurant after all and i am happy to accept slow service(which does not reflect the staff's ability or the food arrival)for the great prices they offer.

This pizza is soo greesy that i think i put 10kg on the night that i ate a slice. couldnt eat the rest and ate 2 minute noodles to fill the gap.
the toppings were a bit chunky like they didnt know how to use knives and the way the manager spoke to me was extremely rude. i am unsure of what impression i gave but being dressed in a suit as having come straight from work, i was made to feel like a righteous idiot for having come to eat their food. i will not be coming back and will be telling as many people i know about this bad experience!

This is a fantastic place for dinner, they have a great 8 ball table that we played on whilst we waited for our pizza to be cooked. friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks over the bar. pizza was delicious, we ordered a large and between the 2 of us we could hardly fit it all in!
