Bitterly disappointed

Passing through kiama yesterday with my family we decided to call in for for some takeaway. i wandered in and ordered a large chips and half a dozen scallops, paid took my number and waited, i grabbed some drinks from the fridge and for them and wandered out to the car to give them to my partner and son, upon wandering back in the shop i for the first time took notice of the display case, the fish and prawns looked as if they'd been sitting in there a week.... my number was called and i took my order out to the car and continued driving toward geroa, my partner bein hungary took a scallop and bit into it, the look on her face said it all. i thought well at least we still have the chips.... i quickly grabbed one and bit into it.... and just as quickly spat it out the window. it left a foul taste and to be honest i wouldnt even feed it to my dog.... i pulled up 10 mins down the road threw the lot in the nearest garbage and ordered the same again from another shop and got it $4.80 cheaper and 100 times better tasting. im not sure if they where just having a bad day or whether they just dont produce good take away........ freshness, taste and price all left us bitterly disappointed...
