Pretty sub-par customer service , could have got off on the wrong foot with a misunderstanding with the phone order(counter girl stuffed up) , but the managers indignation and unwillingness to resolve the issue left a very bitter taste in my mouth.i mean , it's only fish and chips , what's so hard about it?they've lost my patronage.the food?well ,it's no better or worse than your average ..but probably more expensive than usual.good luck if you go for it.

Purchased soggy chips, frozen fish bites and uncooked potato scallops. phoned and spoke to the manager who laughed and said he'd had a problem with the chips all night, and blamed the supplier. manager advised fish bites were made fresh in store and potato scallops "should be alright". would never go there again.

Father & son operation. never been disappointed, not once. been a customer that for years. food always fresh. probably the best in bulimba/balmoral area. the place is fantastic for fish & ship.

Excellent...always been satisfied with me tuckr here.cant help wonder if the negative review above isnt mistaken the hawthorne rd.takeaway?sure sounds like my experiences there.no ,riding road seafoods is a cut above the usual..aa++

Burnt offerings again

They just can't seem to get it right at this take-away. a while ago we had fish that was so burnt we couln't eat it and it was so dried out. we called the shop and the reply was they were busy and that that can happen..?? after a lot of complaining they did give us another order free, although somewhat reluctantly. tonight we decided to give them another go and order fish and chips as it could have been a once only. once again the fish and chips were overcooked. the chips had a foul burnt taste all through them.we wont be going back there again, we are just wasting our money.
