I've bought my takeaway chinese from phone wong for years....the atmosphere in the resturant is not that great...but the food is fantastic

 Worst chinese i've ever eaten!

My partner and i, love chinese food. we went off this feed as we couldn't remember the name of the chinese shop we loved in kallangur! unfortunately we read the good approval comments for this shop and thought if it wasn't correct we would enjoy it anyways. the shop itself is poorly presented and when picking up our order it was sitting in a woolwortths freezer bag in the middle of the bench. if it wasn't that, that put us off we were charged just under 50 dollars for fried rice, black bean and lemon chicken . we would have not taken the food however i'm too polite to do so, which we thought we would give it a go anyways... maybe our first impression was wrong. well the food looked asthough it had been sitting in the container for a week in the fridge, it was soggy and disgusting. the only reasonably nice dish was lemon chicken. waste of money... i wouldn't refer this restaurant to anyone...
however longs on the other side of the road that we thought to believe was the shop we were getting our food fom, is worth giving a try as it serves fresh chinese infront f you. it's delicious and good for your buck!

I love my chinese food and im very picky but phone wongs has amazing food! personal fav has to be the combo chow mein with crunchy noodles. as a matter of fact. ill get that for dinner tonight! yum!
