I went here on a date with my boyfriend for dinner..
we each had an entree, main and desert wit drinks (which we unfortunately ordered in advance- otherwise i would have cancelled my order and walked out before the mains arrived).
upon arrival, there was a man standing on the balcony ranting and complaining at the petite, female chinese owner. he was complaining that he bought $60 worth of chinese food from there and it was all "shit" and wanted a refund but the lady wouldn't help her (ok, he looked like a rough bogan but perhaps the police should have been called to have him removed from the premises as he was distressing the customers and the little lady didn't deserve to be spoken to like this) also, no glasses were provided for our drinks to be served with for dinner (even after asking for one) so we ha to drink out of cans. our entrees and mains were served on the same plate and no new cutlery was provided. not very good atmosphere for these reasons. this place has potential but i feel that it isn't being pushed to its fullest what so ever. jumbo palace is nice to fine in and it's just around the corner.. that would be my pick for a date or romantic dinner. sorry- i just wasn't impressed.. maybe i came in on a bad day?!.. won't be returning to find out.
