Not enough people write good reviews and i feel this cafe deserves one. every time i go into kiama cafe parkview is busy and i understand why. the service is excellent. the huge meals are well worth the money and taste delicious! the coffee is amazing! i recommend it to all my friends when their down this way and i have never had a bad report back.

It took a fair while to even be noticed and served in this far too noisy cafe. i ordered a latte that tasted more like warmed milk and eggs benedict that i had to pay extra for ham or bacon, even though benedict in itself suggests ham is already on it. the supposed "sourdough" bread was soggy, untoasted and tasted like dishwater. the poached eggs were horribly undercooked and the spinach was slimy as it had obviously been wilted in boiling water. i feel sick just recalling the experience. the awards given to them are clearly from the time of a different chef.

A good meal spoilt by a so called traditional carpet bag steak -a scotch fillet filled with pacific oysters acoording to the menu - instead 3 oysters in a shells- a flat overcooked steak covered all covered in a red juice.should never have been allowed to leave the kitchen. below club standard.
