Firstly, i'd like to denounce tasharry's comment and rating of 1 star. i am a local who loves to dine here, i live very close and there is no nature strip even remotely close to this restaurant so i'm not sure where they are talking about.
perhaps they meant sidewalk/footpath?
anyhow, i and my family have been going to paesano for a long time, always requested by the kids for their birthday dinners and our restaurant of choice for a quick takeaway pizza or pasta when no one feels like cooking.
i highly recommend their garlic prawn pizza.

 Worst restaraunt experience of my life

I went to this place as it was recommended by my accommodation. i walked in and asked if there was any availability, i was told by the owner there is a table available but it was booked for 7:15pm if i was happy with a quick dinner. i said no worries as it was 6:15pm and i was only in hobart for work so happy for a quick meal and assumed the owner was happy that he could turn the table over in that time (otherwise why offer it right?). the waitress then seated me at the table gave me a menu and left. she did not return for 20 minutes. i ordered as soon as she returned, i medium pizza and a beer. at this time it is 6:35pm. at 7:05pm the waitress apologized for the wait and advised that my pizza was six minutes away. i said that's fine but isn't my table booked for 7:15. she checked her notes and realised it was, well they'll just have to wai,t she said, as you've been waiting such a long time. she left. at 7:12 she came out, sans pizza, and told me the owner had said i will have to be served my pizza in a take away box and leave when the booking arrived. by this stage i was on shock. at 7:17 my pizza arrived, after one bite i was told the booking for my table had arrived and i would have to leave. whilst she got my bill the guests who had booked sat down at my table! whilst i was still there! she returned with my bill, i paid, and left to eat my pizza sitting on the nature strip across the road. a horrible, de-humanising experience. oh, the pizza was average too.

Worth the effort

This pizzeria is hidden in west hobart but worth the trip.
great pizza...a pity that they are so small...it can be hard at times to get a table but their takeaway service is great.
