Overpriced

We were in inverell for work and needed somewhere to eat lunch. somebody recommended oslo's. i was shocked when i locked at the menu. the prices were too high. the court at the back was nice, but there were some flies. my quiche was bland to say the least, and the salad definitely not fresh. the coffee was ok. overall, i felt ripped off. would not recommend it.

Highly recommended

We travelled recently to inverell for business and asked the locals where the best place to grab a bite for lunch is. without hesitation, oslo's on otho was recommended - and with good reason. the food, service and atmosphere were sensational.
i ordered the sophia's special - a foccacia with bacon, avocado, sundried vegetables and homemade mango chutney. my husband indulged in yet another home cooked speciality - a spinach pie with mixed salad. both meals were more than generous, but we managed to save ourselves for sweets - we couldn't resist the baked lemon meringue cheese cake and baklava.
we enjoyed our meal in a delightful courtyard at the rear of the cafe - an oasis of lush plants, filtered light and tranquillity.
if you find yourself in inverell, make sure you drop into this charming caf?. we will certainly be calling by for another treat when we are next in town.
