We went here this evening and it was fresh, delicious and authentic italian food. i have travelled italy extensively and this was up there with the best italian i've ever had. a real gem

This place is crap!
the toppings were cheap spam ham and they barely put any on. they also charged us extra to share a pizza?? it is written in tiny text at the bottom of the menu.
i will never go here ever again and tell everyone i meet not to go there.
atleast if the food was good it would be ok.... shame on you so cheap they charged children to share a pizza.

Myself, my darlin and various friends have been going for over 10 years, the brother-in-law cooks know all regulars well and friendly service is great, not to mention the home-made after dinner sambuccas. tim & michelle.

I have been visiting this restaurant for the past 16 years. i have not found a better pizza anywhere else including italy and the usa. family owned and run - the quality is always first class. signature pizza (the versuivius) is to die for. my one regret is tha these internet reviews lead to me not getting a seat anymore. i cannot recommend too highly if you want acasual, auhentically italian amily meal or meet with friends before a night out. brilliant".

A nice little restaurant with a real family feel to it. if you are looking for a nice, quiet little haven then this is not for you,as the small space and open seating allows for a louder experience but not in an intrusive way.
the food is simple but fantastic. the pizza's are cooked in the open window in front of the shop, and the selection is varied and they don't skimp on the toppings. the selection of pastas are tasty and fresh, with your normal expected variety of sauces. i can't vouch for the meat or poultry dishes as i have never needed to stray past a combination of pizza/pasta for my meal.
the service is efficient and friendly, and its the place that suits us when a group of 10 or so friends come together for a catch up over good food and wine. its byo but the pub is across the road. great for kids too (as long as they are well behaved....)
