Word up. i have given these guys more than enough chances. mediocre product has compelled me to deliver a mediocre review. who else is dissatisfied with tassie business' banking on the fact that 'well, they're local, there's nothing better, let's put up with this'?. let me explain. i have almost called the council on these motherfuckers after i was delivered grey looking spag bol that gave me serious food poisoning. it probably sat in their freezer for months before defrosting and delivery. give them a fair chance i thought, months later, new owners, give 'em a go. a delightful international student delivers some undercooked, home-brand ingredient pizzas to my door, after a mere 80 minutes from ordering on a wednesday (clearly the busiest night for pizza joints), feeling sorry for the delivery guy, realising clearly that he must work for some incompetent boobs, i tipped him? going against my rule for only tipping for good service. only when shit is so dire, do you pity tip. i could not let it go. i rang napoletano for answers, hoping, beyond all hope, that the eastern shore was not a barren landscape of crap eateries. i could not get through. i called many times. many, many times. sadly, point proven.
and so, this message goes out to napoletano management. cugini's (who are eating you alive in the quality stakes, and they do not even deliver) are surely going to put you out of business. that is of course, unless you rely on a bogan customer-base that think their woolworth's-grade frozen ingredient pizza is of such an 'amazing standard' that they will keep coming back for more. let me give you a word from the wise, however.. even hogans get pissed off waiting 80 minutes for a pizza to be delivered just down the road, that tastes like cardboard. not even the good cardboard. the salmonella-type cardboard.

Poor quality food and service

We had a meat lovers pizza delivered the other night. it took one hour to be delivered, and the pizza was not cooked through, and the dough was white and sticky. also, the topping consisted of mainly shredded processed ham and some cheese, when it was meant to be a meat lovers. we called them up to explain the situation. the person on the phone asked for our address to verify the order but then did not offer anything except a brief apology.

The multinational franchises - pizza hut and dominoes have nothing to compare with the fresh tasting quality of these blokes' pizzas. they deliver to a wide area and always come nice and hot and taste as if they've been made with fresh ingredients. the atmosphere in the shop leaves a little to be desired and i agree with another poster's comment that repeat customers should at least get a "how are you?". a smile wouldn't hurt, either. but they're never rude. sensational pizzas at a reasonable price. valetta with chilli, please. gorgeous!

Haven,t been to shop for a while pizza not as good as it used to be too cheesy paid for extra topping on one pizza ( 2.50 ) got 6 slices of tomato mmmm 2/3 pieces of anchovey on whole pizza

Nearly always consistently good food - but the original owners need to give a bit more customer service i.e. we went 1-2 times a week for over a year without any recognition or "how are you" or a smile - the new asian lads who they have employed are better though

Best pizza's i have tasted in tasmania, mostly due to the quality of fresh stock, rather expensive...however will not go home on an empty stomach no matter which is selected from the huge variety of pizza's and pasta available
