The restaurants ambiance is nice and the people are friendly.
food: i must admit the food has some room to improve in terms of taste. the chicken i had .. even though claimed spicy actually tasted a bit salty. now lets understand this.. spicy doesn't mean more of salt and all the ingredients. the naan was allright. for the pickles .. i guess they must import new stocks.
customer service: in my initial visits, i used to have only roti and daal /sabzi combo as i had recently moved to aus and was craving for "roti" not rice. that combo was like $5. after couple of visits i think the lady on the counter started thinking that i was coming in only to get cheap food. and well that was true too since i had'nt got my first aus salary till then .. but these situations put an enterprise to test. will they treat you well even when you do not place a full order every time, after all its a take away restaurant. i could even walk in and buy 60c pickle too ! i must admit customer service did go down once.
food price: a decent meal for one person could easily go past $18 with regular stuffs.
overall a nice restaurant for once in a while when you wish to eat indian food but dont want to cook !
i'll give it 3 out 5, simply because its a "take away" restaurant where customers shouldn't expect too much elaboration in terms of taste.

I love going to miss india because the food is always tasty and hot, the staff are well presented and great at customer serivce. i always feel welcomed and i know i can always get a nice meal.

Not exactly cheap either. by the the time you get one dish, an entree and some breads, you're looking at around $25-$30.
butter chicken is passable, but can be watery and lacking in depth or flavour. the naan bread i ordered was undercooked and doughy - and the raita dip was watery. however, i must comment on the samosas and their mango lassey's, which are very tasty. definately not the best indian food around, but for a quick snack when pushed for time, it's passable.
anyone wanting better food should probably check out sultan's kitchen and sitar - both of which are excellent.

We really enjoyed a great lunch at miss india. the lady who served us was very welcoming and patient. we ate beautiful curry, naan and pakora. everything was delicious. i can't wait to visit again. thank you miss india!
