Service rating is minus 0. where to start... roma i think is her name. dispicable woman! no respect for staff or customers. we were spoken to rather rudely when buying our lunch. we called to let the managers know and where practically called liars because this particular girl had worked there for 5 years. we were not teying to get anyone into trouble we were just looking for a sorry but instead get accused of lying. granted i also.lost my temper towars the end of the phone call as i was flabber gasted at tue response i was getting. so roma... relax. being store mannager you of all people should have just appologises and humored me instead of being a rude arrogant person! i also agree with the above commebt. the males are who you would expect to be rude but they are the opposite! someone needs to fix litlthgow macdonalds.or the same rude ppl will be working there for ever. also, its pathetic that we get parked in disabled parking or near the equiptment after we order instead of waiting in drive through.

did any of you have any formal schooling/education, or did you all just sit in class and misbehave?
or is this just an indication of the clientelle that visit mcdonald's?

All the managers at mcdonalds lithgow are just pathetic scum, the boys there however are the exception. sean and patrick are amazing and great with customer satisfaction.
i go there all the time and they are the only ones who have not verbally abused me, even the store manager is crude, i've been told on numerous occasions to "f**k off" by the store manager herself, roma i think her name is, it's just disgusting the way they treat their employees and customers...

My family & i stopped at lithgow mcdonalds last night for dinner on the way home to mudgee from sydney. we joined a queue in which one other lady was in front of us. when her order was completed, we moved up to the register which was still turned on with messages running across the front. the register next to us was quite obviously turned off. we stood there for around ten minutes with staff looking at us but proceeding to take orders at other registers. i then asked a girl why anyone wasnt serving at this register. she said "oh not that one's not on now"....i asked why it was still turned on then & as she had been looking at us for ten minutes, why she hadnt informed us! no reply..... we then ordered our meal from the another line, which the manager was working on. he was lovely & took our order which included some hot drinks from the mccafe section. we then went to find a seat. after a little while i looked up at the cafe counter & saw some hot drinks sitting there. i asked the girl if it was our order to which she nodded in reply. no verbal reply, nor did they call out when the order was ready & we were sitting close to the counter. my husbanded came back with our food & we began to eat our dinner. first problem was that the chip packet was only half full. he went pack & that was rectified. then i started to eat my chicken chilli wrap but this was disgusting with burnt chicken, no sour cream & was just horrible. we took that back & same nice manager fixed that problem. the whole restaurant was disgustingly dirty. the floors throughout looked as if they had not been cleaned for months with stain upon stain coating the floor. the floor directly in front of the cafe was stained with copious amounts of spills that had not been cleaned up. also the floor beside and behind cafe was putrid with litter on the floor that simply needed to be picked up. the toilets were also exremely unclean. overall i was so disappointed in the whole experience. we stop at mcdonalds when travelling only as we can usually be guaranteed a fairly comfortable stop with quick service and good quality food of the takeaway variety. i will be formerley complaining to mcdonalds head office also.

Where is the duty of care

Sunday the 18th of march. was very disappointed with the management at this site as was being served by one nice young girl and a guy that was served previously just walked up and abused the young girl on the register beside me yelling abuse to her with a manager standing only a meter or so behind her and not standing up for this young girl or asking the abusive customer if there was anyway that she could help him and seeing the young girl walk away crying as she only looked about 14 or 15 yrs of age and the manager just turning away and walking off in the other direction. i feel sorry for the kids that work on this lithgow site as what a way to be introduced into the work force with an abusive customer and not an adult/manager there for assistance. while eating my meal i heard other mangers yelling at these kids to do things rather then ask the kids. to mcdonalds lithgow these kids are here to be introduced into the workplace they are not here to be your slaves and cop your abuse and frustration

It all got silly early hrs 29/12/11 est between 2.-3.30 am lithgow 24hr mc donalds.on arrival we parked in the carpark as the truck a small mitsubishi with a box back that was not tall it was only like ahalf a metre to high and it is a low clearence for a drive thru! well i made my way into the store to be rudly greeted by point dexter ha ha soz it was a uplift well appreciated!!! .we well myself n my nephew asked nicely that we needed 3 coffees as did the craig the driver .he had been to bathurst already this was second trip so all of us were well in need to take a break and revive.at this stage told that we were not allowed in the restaurant it was driv thru only the sign states this we not seen the sign it was not in clear view.!.so that was fine i asked the well looked like a boy he not allowed to serve us unless we go drive thru!i was tired and said again the clearence etc .then thats were the boy in charge says get a taxi to go thru and i will serv you. not very f@$n!? happy!!... i obtained the girl that seemed to be 1% helpfull,rebecca muirhead .we all were so happy to see richmond maccas and to be served and also told that there is service for drivers so as they can be served!! we all enjoyd brekie! whould like those staff to be grilled over the fact that craig (driver) was pushin himself to stay alert like driver reviver is on the radio n tv all the time.i look forword to some feedback in regard to this matter!!.angry like who trains these boyz an girls or is it a wage issue lower pay poorly trained staff.????? a appology would be a start..

Went through the drive thru,they didn't take my order properly,payed for what they ordered for me,did not get a receipt for what i paid for then got told(not asked)to park in the disabled spot,the girl came out with our order and very rudely asked me what my order was,i told her what it was and again rudely got told that i was wrong,so i asked for the manager and got told no you can't see a manager we are to busy,so i had to get out in the rain and went inside and was told the order wasn't taken down properly and if i wanted my correct order i would have to pay more money,the money wasn't a problem,it was the service and rudeness of the staff that was disgusting.i will drive for another hour before i would stop at lithgow mcdonalds in the future and i advise everybody else to do the same,unless you like being treated like crap and ripped off go to lithgow mcdonalds thats how you will be treated.

I attended the mcdonalds restaurant at lithgow with my direct and extended family (9 in total) and i wanted to order coffee and breakfast from the mccafe section (as available fom most other mcdonalds). i could order the coffee but not the food. so i ordered and paid for the coffee in one line and then had to wait close to 15 minutes in the food line to be served.
whilst i was waiting, my coffee was made and left on the collection bench, as i could not collect it, without losing my spot in line, of course the coffee went cold.
when our food arrived, i collected my now "stone cold" coffee, which i then asked for the girl to remake, which she supposedley did, but it too cold, i again asked for it to be remade, only to now receive beligerent and degrading remarks directed at me from the 2 girls between each other, then a "warm" cup from the post mix coffee machine arrived, which is "cheaper" and i received no apology or refund, not even even any eye contact for the lesser standard of coffee.
i was annoyed at the "total lack" of customer satisfaction and the attitude of the staff, particularly, when i am standing within listenning distance.
the look and comments i was subjected to were terse and demeaning and appalling.
we will never go there again, and in future will wait until bathurst or blaxland, on our many future trips past this mcdonalds.

I hadnt been to lithgow mcdonalds for about 6 months due to constant bad service,orders being wrong in both drive thru and counter service,and bad attitude of managers when speaking to the workers. i thought that things may have changed in that time. how wrong was i??
as usual the food was cold and the order was wrong. no hi how are you from any of the staff,no thankyou when i gave the money...
i know it isnt 5 star dining but how hard is it to use your manners and actually listen the the peoples orders?

Look half you people complain about the one maccas u say u will go to bathurst maccas i got a hair in my fries and my burger was wrong you never put in mind they have over 100 teens working there doing 7-8 hour shifts, have you ever worked there if not then what right do you have honestly. they are non stop, very busy most complaints come when we are changing over staff, yes they do stuff thing up and drive thru but if you order correctly the first time not adding at the window or making grill dont like pickle take it off dont be lazy. i have worked in a maccas before and its more work then most of you could even imagine!! so cut them some slack and let them know if somethings wrong the people on the counter dont make the burgers so why abuse them for it its the back crew that make it. some of you people just need to take a look at life its it all that important??? its food just eat it and if you dont like it there why go there? open your eyes and wake up to yourself

Everytime i go to mcdonald's lithgow drive thru the order i receive is wrong. how hard is it to get these orders right - it is not brain surgery!!
i am beginning to think that this restaurant does this on purpose - leaving something out each time would save you money wouldn't it? considering how many people wouldn't check and not bother to go back - it makes me wonder. i even have to check my burger if i have ordered extra sauce or bacon, etc because 90% of the time they wouldn't have put it on there. the speed of service is also appalling both in drive-thru and inside. so watch out for the scams at mcdonald's lithgow and check your orders. me, i'll be going to bathurst where the orders are always correct.

Taveling through to sydney after bathurst races to drop my son of at airport we stopped in to have breekfast mywife orderd pankakes they turned up frozen she took them back and they gave her another it was cold and no excuse on arival home rang the resturant and were promised vouchers and an apology still waiting now they have lost about 50 dollars a trip from a large family

Hi, iam just writing to let you know about my experience at your store last night 16th august 09. first of all the girl that served as was very rude,she showed very poor customer service skills she just didnt seem to care, i understand that it was8pm she was tired, but no excuse for rudness. when we received our order our chips were cold, my burger looked like it was about 1 week old the chicken looked liked it was moving the lettuce was grey and the roll was like a rock,i have never seen anything like it. even the staff were shocked to see it, they could not understand how this was served. on the postive side i would really like to commend your manager gemma young for the way that she handled the situation, she was concerned to see that this burger had been given to someone.

Kept to wait too long when cant be served immediately in drive-thru. say a certain time to wait, but usually takes much longer. sometimes have to walk into store to enquire.
common to have order wrong and incomplete.
management have an unprofessional attitude. this transfers to the staff.
