Was a big fan of mpp ... the best pizza in the east, but they seemed to have dropped of lately. perhaps the pizza maker or management has changed.

Still the best in town!!!!
|
I don't think this place is expensive at all !!..... they have great food, a pretty good wine list for a little pizzaria and their service is always friendly. i fed a family of 4 for under $80.00 and that included a bottle of mitchell peppertree, a 18" pizza, a soft drink bottle for the kids and some garlic bread. i don't know about others, but i am very happy with that!
i have been to places where you pay $80 per head without any wine, and you end up leaving unhappy because at that price you were expecting first class food and not just standard cafe quality..........
ok, the place may not look like the ritz, but fair go, i go there for the food not the chandeliers.............

Truly memorable
|
After putting up with every other wannabe pizza shop in the eastern suburbs i decided to give my old favourite marryatville pizza pan another go. my family and i enjoyed marryatville pizza's for years until it all fell apart about 4 or 5 years ago. only now (after digesting all the other rubbish available in the area) i found out that the original owners had actually sold the business and now bought it back! as soon as i tried the pizza i instantly knew the old recipe was back. miracles do happen. or should i say food miracles do happen.
what joy to munch on a real pizza, crispy, juicy and tasty, and not the usual plastic-like pizza's that seem to come out of an assembly line.
real flavour people!
