I was so happy when i happened to come across maria's. decent fish and chips, just like when i was a kid down south. no matter what time i have been there, day or night, i have always come away a happy little camper :d

I visited one weekday, and the service was terrible. i stood waiting to be served, even though a staff member saw, no acknowledgment was given to me. when i was served,by an older lady, i'm guessing she was the owner, she was impatient with me and spoke down to me. i eventually got my food, and depsite the bad service, it was quite good.

Better than others in burpengary

I have been here 2 times now and even when busy the food is cooked well and quickly ,some staff are a little slow at order taking but overall ,would go here for fish and chips in burpengary before going to the other local fish chip shops here in burpengary ,
