We found maddigans 24 years ago when we were on leave. we actually try to stay within walking distance so we can pick up our takeaway on the way home from our evening walk. i just do not know how these folks manage to put so much on the plate, and charge so little. we have never struck an iffy meal... as a matter of fact we are up here for our 25th leave in hervs and guess what we are having for dinner tonight. it's a tradition first night and last night and as many as we want in between.
their burgers aren't too shabby either.

Had my first but not my last taste of the fish and chips at maddigan's on the esplanade in hervey bay. absolutely delicious. as "arnie" said, "i'll be back".

Ex sydneyite and i found madigans two years ago and eat their seafood regularly. it is always fresh and tasty. local mums comment on 19/12/12 is unbelievable, particularly considering that madigans do not have eat in facilities.

Tonight my fianc? took an old friend and our 12month old daughter out for fish and chips here while i was at work and i come home to them all constantly vomiting and seeing as this was the only thing they ate that i did not, it had to be from madigans! i am appalled and sorry to say we won't be back again.

I have travelled all over queensland and must say i will always come back and rave about maddiggans seafood in hervey bay...! always cooked perfectly and with love... great service and love taking the kids accross to the park and eat while watching the water meet the sand...xxx i love maddiggans

Went there in october last year while we were holidaying and going back again this week for the best fish and chips at the bay. best price, great service, great meal. not overpriced like a lot of others. highly recommended.

What a great place i look foward to going to hervey bay just to get there family pack, which has everything, can never finish it all,fresh friendly service.. this place is a must try... you wont find fresher...love it...great staff to go with great service
