My husband and i recently moved into the area and were eating at this restaurant regularly. we were not greeted on the phone when we called for takeway. the staff were exceptionally rude and our orders were often wrong and/or with courses missing. it is one of the most expensive thai restaurants in newcastle and the food does not reflect the price. very disappointing, i recommend the grain, beaumont street, hamilton.

Although the restaurant is not looking directly at the harbour, the place was packed. the food was excellent as was the wine selection.

I have been to larnna thai twice since the original owners sold out. food and service is no longer good. there are much better choices in inner newcastle for thai food.

This is the best thai place in newcastle...period shona slade has been watching too much master chef and my kitchen rules so they think they're a reviewer...get over yourself.....this place is awesome

Is it really possible that i am reading about the same restaurant! not once, but twice i have experienced nothing less than exceptionally bad service, average thai cuisine that was certainly not worth the extended wait times, and stretched to the limit wait staff whom as a result are stressed, snappy and forgetful.
i can confidently assure you , i will not be frequenting this establishment again!
