I am just new to this area but have a penchant for good indian food and i can tell you that kastury's is the best i have been and believe me i have been to many. the food is fantastic and backed up with a great atmosphere and warm friendly service, i have been a number of times now and have taken family and friends as well who are also now fans!!

We are regulars here for the last two years. love this place - food is excellent, service pleasant and friendly, very clean restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. can't get enough of kastury's !

I have tried alot of indian restaurants in brisbane and this one is the best by far. the service was amazing and the food was to die for. if u r looking for great food go to kastury's indian cuisine :)

Over many many years now this is the best indian food ever. will travel 30 mins each way past every other indian just to get my favourite dishes. never had a bad meal yet. the chef there always uses the best ingredients and super clean kitchen :)

We have been going to kastury's for the past 9 years, and i can't say a thing that has gone bad to us, i feel sad when people make bad comment for a great job this guys do, always friendly, very very very clean, they have a star rating of **** i have had the opptunity to go in to the kitchen, the place is clean and tidy, thats peace of mind for my family, food is always fantastic, generous servings, very tasty, the service is great, vanisha the owner's daughter works some nights, she is a great hostess, we have known her since young. this family bussiness is trying very hard to please everyone, at times things can go wrong, but this is not going to stop us from having good clean food. i will personally give compliment to this guys for doing a great job.

Kastury's indian cuisine is by far the best indian food i have ever had!! the services is always friendly and welcoming adding to the already wonderful atmosphere. the food is amazing especially my favorites, lamb malabar and butter chicken. i will always continue to eat at kastury's indian cuisine for fine food and services at a reasonable price. great night out. always going to be a regular customer!!!!!!

Great experience and unforgettable night. we went to kastury's for our 10th wedding anniversary and we were treated as a special guests. we just simply fell in love with the butter chicken and lamb malabar (very rare to find this dish in brisbane). tandoori chicken was very juicy and succulent (unlike most other restaurants!!). in short this is a hidden gem! it really deserves more recognition. we are regulars now and loving it all the time.

We come to this place all the time. the service is always excellent, the pricing of the meals is reasonable (very good if you take the banquet) and the quality of the food is always top notch. it saddens me to see negative reviews on this site from 3 years ago affecting these guys business, as they are the best indian i've had in the region. highly reccomended.

The food is great everytime ive had it,takeaway or dine in,staff always freindly and atmosphere always nice,highly recomend as i have eaten indian from coolangatta to sunshine coast and kasturys is the best.

Two times previously we had tried kastury's and while the food was edible, the service was deplorable. this time the food was inedible and now it's 3 strikes so we won't ever go back again. rang to complain about the naan being undercooked and the food being inedible and was told sorry but offered nothing else. very disgusted.

Arriving at a restaurant with no guests is a little daunting - and then waiting for five minutes before anyone appeared from behind the back wall almost had me walking out the door.
i did receive my meal in about ten minutes as promised, drove home to find that i hadn't received any rice. when i phoned i was reassured that rice had to be ordered seperately... never again kasturys

Great food! i got takeaway and the meal was fast and friendly. took about 15mins. i highly recommend the butter chicken. it one of the most authentic i have tasted. the resturant was about half full, so there is always room for more people. the value for money as fine. the food is great and i'll always pay more for great indian food.
any complaints are probably made by those used to watered down, westernised, buffet style, pseudo indian food.

I dunno about the prvious comments saying they really liked the food but my experience was the food was awfull. the curries we tried lacked flavour and were very pricy. common theres plenty of better indian resturants out there than this one. quite possiably the 2nd worst indian ive had.

My husband and i have been going here for about 3 years now. really great little place with authentic tasting food. we have traveled to india twice and do know a good indian curry when we taste it. service is great, no complaints at all from us and we are fussy!

First time there and i would recommend to give it a go, great food, soft surrounding, friendly service. well known in the local area, we stayed at a hotel and this place was highly recommended to us. no regrets.

The worst indian

This was the worst indian i have ever had peroid! the meal took greater than an hour to arive on a moderatley busy night. the waiter stuffed up our order. the chicken curry tasted like it was out of a packet and lacked flavout, tasted artifical and lacked spice and depth. the amount of chicken reliative to curry was appaling. the vegetartian curry we recieved was even worse lacking flavour, seasoning depth and richness. the vegetables were over cooked and mushy and the curry sauce tasted artifical and not visually appealing. alos you have to pay extra for rice to come with your meals making this place more expensive than 80% of indian resturants. portion sizes were fair to poor increasing the lack of value. also dont drink the mango lassi as it tasted of mango juice mixed with milk. i could go on but i think you get the point. avoid this place at all costs!!!
