I have previously lived in noosa for 30 yrs and returned back for a day on the river with friends only to have the end of the day ruined by sourfaced, unsmiling staff a long wait, expensive prices and all for the worst piece of battered fish in a very long time. the oil tasted old and the fish was sloppy and greasy and fell apart, chips were the only saving grace "just". will be going elsewhere next time, it was embarrassing.

We walked in to hear the owner talking about sales being down and then whispered something to one of the kids working there for a giggle which didn't seem very professional. the owner of the fush and chips store then looked down his nose at us as if our patronage was inconveniencing him on his sunday. the grilled red emporer was borderlining on fish flavoured chewing gum and the fish in the fishermans basket was waterlogged and tasteless. calamari was alright and nice chips though that the seagulls loved! won't be going back.
