The locals all know that hilltop has the best fish & chips around, and also the most reasonably priced.
good on you guys for providing good old fashioned service and food - you are always our fallback for dinner, even though we pass two takeaway shops on our way to yours! ;-)

Wow andy clem,you certainly are very educated! i love all your big words. i think buckingham palace burgers might be more your style. it amazes me that someone of your calibre would waste half an hour of their precious time on a hamburger review!

Clean. good taste. reliable. what more could you want from a fish and chip shop. i recommend it if you're in the area, hungry and not flush with cash.

I find that i must strongly disagree by the thoughts an opinions expressed by this "deb" character. firstly the kahibah takeaway (ktw) is a monumental establishment in the heart of the uncouth suburb of kahibah. to say ktw is not to bad is a dull understatement, expressed by a person who does not understand chracter. this decline that is spoken of is outrageous as the establishment bres the same rust stains and chipped paint it would of had twenty years ago, the menu is consitant and if anything the flavours have increased by the years of use and build up on there world class cooking devices.
i can only wonder if this review is some kind of smear campaign similar to the recent kevin rudd "ute-gate" scandal that conjested our tv's and newspaper for weeks until mr jacksons death and the media soon forgot. i noticed this debbie character tried to take abit of the sting out of her review by saying, "still it is much better than most" i ask you deb what establishments these are and have you left a worse review for them or dribbled the same old poppycock with a little disclaimer at the end as well.
so maybe the ktw isn't in the same league as matt morans 'aria' restaurant of circular quay or mark best's 'marqu?' but does it really need to be? i know after i've spent my mornings fighting local street gangs with fence pailings and stealing there shoes my mouth craves nothing more than the delicate flavours of the btw. the service is quick, reasonably priced for a centrelink budget and the staff are nothing but professional. if your lost in a ghetto this winterwhy not try the kahibah takeaway!

Not too bad. this has declined over the past few years though. it used to be a reliably good and reasonably priced. still it is much better than most.

Lovely service, needs to stock up on milk more often. a well presented take away located in the delicate surroundings of kahibah. excellent service and food.
