Havnt been to this place for quite a long time....i think its under new management but i see the same indian guy who used to work there for quite a long time....been there on sunday and asusual the place is packed with customers. the new owners tried to keep the old staff and thats a good smart move. because its a place that runs by staff completely...they are quick, good, happy faced all the time. i know its a bit greasy when its busy but go there on weekday evenings to have food...truly amazing food and service. but when its busy its busy. i would definitely go back again....

I have been to many fish and chips but never like this,its the best place for fish and chips and also the view feels like heaven in the morning,my advise for you is to just visit there once.

Let me tell u one thing guys,........if u are at the brighton beach u should definitely go to the flatheads......love the place for the food they serve, love the place for the economical pricing.......love the place for the crew that work there....and love the place for the view............ dont miss the sunset guys....by far the best fish and chips i can say...i will be goin there forever...flatheads....u rock...

Staff make the place!

I've been to this place a few times in the past, but never on the weekend. i'm not sure what the owner has done, but he's hired a great team. when i was there a couple of weeks ago, there was a big guy doing the cooking, a blonde girl serving and a young boy who seemed to be running around doing anything from dishes to collecting more chips for the big guy. they were flat out, had things organised and were laughing and enjoying themselves at the same time. it was a great atmosphere and the food was great.
although you bettter call before going because there doesn't seem to be a real timetable that they stick to and don't believe the sign at the front that says what thime they'll open the next day.
