Went to this shop about 2years ago there was a guy from dunedin running it he was great and the food was awsum so decided to try them again even tho he was no longer there and so...get there only 2customers ahead of us so.we ordered a super burger minus lettuce and pineapple, a fish and egg burger with a runny egg, and 2 kumara fritters made sure with the girl that they were in fact kumara not sweet potato she assured us they were kumara so ok...the wait wasn't too long and the service was ok but did i get a runny egg??? no it was hard as a rock!!! still got lettuce in the super burger ugghh and she lied about the so-called "kumara" fritters they were sweet potato!!!! we are kiwis we know our kumara duh!!!!! but yes never ever again will you get our money!!!! and that is mainly because of the lie u told

Fantastic burgers, service is fast (even when the place it packed) staff are happy, friendly and actually look like then enjoy their jobs.
food quality is always very high, it would appear all fish and seafood is crumbed and battered to order, and burger patties are definatly made on premisis.
i take all my country bumkins there for good take away, then over the road to the beach-always a hit!!!
one of the guys that always serves (& is one of the main cooks-guy with the big earrings), is so sweet and caring-even my grandma thought he was a darling, darling!
fish'n is the best take away joint on the peninsula!

Best burgers and fish and chips ive had in a while!!! looks like the staff enjoy working there too...they where involved with the customers giving away free gelati....will definitly be back
