 Good, reliable takeaway option

Like the steak sandwiches, and everything is very reasonably priced. the place is very popular, even with a local pizza shop and mcdonald's. we get takeout from here once or twice a month and recommend it.

Usually get fish and chips here. decently priced chips and potato scallops. a slightly longer wait for better quality take-out. will be a frequent visitor in the future =)

Oil was old, food wasn't cooked properly, half an hours wait for minimum chips and dim sims. overall a pathetic effort on there behalf don't know why people keep going back to them.

 Long waits, pricey and chatty cooks

This place is busy, but even when there is only a couple of orders expect to wait half hour. i got the 5.90 fish and chips and a burger and that was a 30 mins wait! even though other customers served after us received their food way before us. there was five cooks in the back area and they were chatting away for all the store to hear. perhaps if there was less chit chat and more cooking food would arrive earlier.
when we got home there was no burger, we called the store and the cooks had forgotten to put the burger in the bag!
30min wait $20 and they forgot to put the burger in the parcel? all five cooks?
we had to go back and pick it up. and only until i complained about the poor service did we recieve a credit of some sort. but why would i want to use it if thats how the service will probably be.
