food tasted and looked exceptionaly fresh!
my partner and i were desperate for some nice italian though could only find pre-made same old same old type italian food everywhere else (with no taste)in perth...., so we made the effort and drove to gooseberry hill. well the drive there paid off because the food was very very very tasty!
we shared a pizza and salad and both were really yummy. we were both full up too! we also had a fantastic desert (timtam cheescake) that looked home made and fresh (beautifully presented).
over all a great night and we will return and highly recommend!

Wait a while service

After waiting over 25 minutes to have our order taken today 28th june 2009, we walked out telling one staff member that herself and two other staff members had approached two other tables at least three times but ignored us completly when we told the waitress how annoyed we were and how we were ignored she replied 'i know' and we walked out without an appolgy.

Every time i have tried to make a booking they have lost my booking and it's not to the end of the meal do they find it again. the service has always been poor especially when it comes to ordering desert. the pizza's are good, but the rest of the food is nothing special - i would definately stay away from the seafood.

I was in buying a pizza yesterday and made a telephone order around 19.30. i was told the food would be ready at 20.10, which was half an hour away which is fine. i arrived at 20.10 and had to wait another half for the food. whilst i was waiting, i saw one the boys load a log of wood using one of the spades into the fire. i then saw him load some new pizzas into the same fire using the same spade on the same side.
how hygienic is that ???
