 An enigmatic experience

There is no doubt in my mind that this was the best chicken and chips in my life. the chicken, both tender and moist. the skin succulent and salty. when combined, in perfect proportion with the chips, which were crunchy on the outside and pleasantly soft on the inside, the result was an awe-inspired flabbergasted customer. i found myself unable for the proceeding hours to express the jubilation which chicken magic evoked in by being. in the subsequent years, each time i visit this testament to the pinnacle of human evolution and development, the result is the same. chicken magic, you are the bread to my butter, keep it up.

Service is terrible and ppl who say otherwise are full of sh?t - ring for a pick up and they say " when do you want it??? wtf?? when do you think?? since i'm ringing for takeaway now i probably want it.......now!! what they should do is build a wall with some holes in it and a intercom- place your order thru intercom put money in shoot and wait, that way they can't be inconvienenced by you! they have been around forever and now they are taking you for granted !!! ppl saying service is great obviously live in another dimension - im never going back!!! no soup for you!!!!!

I honestly can not believe the service that i have just received at this store. was served by a girl with long blonde hair in a ponytail. i have never ever been spoken to by anybody the way she spoke to me. i will never be attending this store again and will be encouraging others not to as well.
the food is amazing in this store and its a damn shame that the customer service is out the window.
apparently this girl with the long blonde hair owns the business! god help anyone who gets served by this disgrace of human being.

This has to be the best take away in brisbane..we drive from ferny grove just for the chips and the chicken. service is always friendly, and they recognise you which makes it kind of more personal!! love this place!!

Yes, i agree with other reviews, it's an understatement to claim that this place has the best chips on earth when they are, in fact, out of this world!
as for the service, well yeah, the staff do act like smug dealers but only because they are safe in the knowledge that all their chip-junkie-customers will be back for another crispy hit before the end of the week... maybe this area needs a rehab clinic for all the people that have become hooked on the chips from magic chicken?? maybe that's what the 'magic', in 'magic chicken' actually means??

Don't have the problems with service another poster had - the girl usually serviing the counter at nights is one of the nicest, happiest retail persons i've ever seen. their chips are the absolute best - nice and crispy, unlike the soggy mess so many other places serve.
