I am not sure how many years the current owners have been serving the customers but we used to take our kids down to mordy for fish n chips many years ago (now they are grown ups with kids of their own) and love to see the same familiar faces serve us today. it is just about a yearly ritual that the family, (yes and the next generation) travel to mordy to the beach. we always have a "bridge" dinner, love their fish and chips and their hamburgers were to die for. we went down again last thursday night, but although the dinner was still enjoyable i don't think its quite to the same standard as it used to be. but thank you for your wonderful service over many years. i don't really care that you don't have meal deals and packs. it is just as easy to pick want we want from you board.

Recently ordered some fish that was dry, tough and horrible, had the texture of chicken breast. my wife had a lot of bones on her fish plus we were overcharged for our meal despite the price being displayed on menus. the staff are tired and grumpy and should not be serving people with the attitude they have towards customers. definitely avoid.

We have been getting ours from here for years (travel from 2 suburbs away to go here!). the place is squeaky clean and food is excellent. the home made chips are a real winner for us. ok the customer service is not fantastic but most time we go they are completely under the pump and they are just heads down tails up cooking. the fact they are extremely busy alot is a good sign i would have thought but it does pay to ring ahead as there can be a wait. terms and conditions?? who cares. bottom line is the food is consistently excellent and far better than others in the surrounding area. we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Very popular fish and chips store! worth the wait when its busy. burgers are delicious and very filling. reasonably priced.
definately going there again when im in the area!

This place is terrible! first they have no menus, no packs to save you money, no nuggets, no chicken salt, no eftpos. no choices on sauces, only tomato and tarte sachets for 30 & 40 cents each, and lemons 70 cents each. rip off! no napkins, no cutlery. gyros only lamb, no chicken burgers and i can go on. another thing is when they say 10 min wait and it turns to 25. and then when you are waiting inside you start to notice all the terms and condition of your purchase. and it goes something like this....a good customer is: when they don't treat them like their servants, don't ask for discount, pay cash, respect their work, don' make unreasonable requests. also signs like no children on the counter and don't ask to use credit as you may mot like the response! i have never seeing anything like this. the ladies stood there, speaking greek between themselves, back to the customers. no customer service, no atmosphere! food was not good, oil was old and the food was oily. my husband had a burger and threw it all up later that evening!!! would not go back!!! ever!!!!
