Was very disgusted last time i visited. food was obscene, the chips, scallops and fish all poorly cooked. well chips under cooked scallops over cooked. used to be nice, came home hungry and ate a cardboard box.

Very disappointed in the amount of chips you get for the price. i ordered $3 worth and you get very little. better off going to andy's takeaway at new lambton where you get double the amount and they are nicer chips.

Thankyou staff at blackbutt takeaway on new years day ' i had no idea so close to blackbutt reserve ( which we had a family day ) there was a takeaway so handy & and thank goodness we stubbled upon this shop which made or meal and day complete . the food was outstanding also the staff on the day were very friendly wishing all a happy new year as busy as they were with glow on there faces .we shall be back thankyou so much .

We got fish & chips and burgers from blackbutt take away for dinner. we had a guest at the time and we were incredibly embarrassed to offer such poor quality food. dry, tasteless overcooked crumbed fish (they actually cooked the life out of that fish ... it was not fresh). tasteless dry chips, average soggy burgers... the only good thing were potato cakes (scullops??) ... we paid over $50 and half of the food was thrown in the rubbish bin. dunno, maybe they figured we were from out of town and gave us the weekly left overs. never gonna call again. very disappointing...

The new owner make the best hamburgers in the area, clean and very friendly owner, quality food with happy atmosphere, recommend to every body that after fine and decent food at good prices.
