Have enjoyed breakfasts at this cafe for a number of years but recently there has been a marked change, with poor food, arrogant and dismissive staff, dirty crockery and flies crawling on food in the display cabinets. they've lost us.

We have breakfast here every sunday - great food at very reasonabe prices with generous serves. great whether rain or shine with heaters and unbrellas to cater no matter what mother nature is doing :) and best of all it's dog friendly so we take ours for a walk on the beach then out to brekkie (with a double serve of bacon so we can share)

Love the beach st cafe, food is very resonably priced, byo is fantastic!!! no corkage except for $1.00 per glass if you are having wine. you wouldnt find that anywhere else. the view is priceless overlooking the river. i can go for lunch and easily spend only 10.50 for a great meal! didnt rate the service as well this time around as the girls serving didnt seem very customer orientated.
would recommend this place to anyone( and i do) !
