Jasmine thai is a bit overhyped. the food is ok. i've had some enjoyable meals there, yet the last meal i had there was unpleasant and the calamari in it was tough and rubbery, which a proper chef should not be serving up. i've had a lot of thai food in both australia and thailand and i just think jasmine thai is way overpriced. unfortunately, in ballarat, anywhere that serves food that is half decent thinks they should charge like it's five star. also unfortunately, people in ballarat will go along with this. they would not in melbourne.

Jasmine thai is not a rip off. it really is very reasonably priced given the quality of the food and the efficient service. have eaten there many times and has been consistently good.
