I live 4 mins from the restraint yet it took over an hour for food to be delivered. the burger was tasty and i love how it comes open so you can add the amount of condiments you want. the wedges were too oily and lacked a good crunch and i won't get them again... but will try the chips.

The food was absolutely brilliant. i got it delivered. the delivery guy went to the wrong place first but my place is pretty hard to find. then when he did arrive didn't even bother saying hi and only gave over the food when i reached for it. basic communication skills were horrible.

Very happy with the burgers - and the gf bun is pretty good.
the site, however, proved a problem as i was not able to put in the time required for delivery (i was ordering ahead of time) - so had to call the restaurant. now - to their credit, they are super-fast and had already started. they kindly halted the cooking, and rescheduled it for later. top marks for doing that!

We have order takeaway from this store a few times, and it has been fairly reliable. however last night we noticed the serving sizes of fries and 150 gm patties seem to have shrunk. also the grilled mushrooms tasted like canned mushrooms.

what i didn't expect was falafel balls in a thai green curry. had a little taste, kind of weirded out. might try again later since i've paid for it already.

I was really hoping for something decent from this place and it really let me down. if you like urban burger than you might like this place, however i will not be returning. the burger buns are dry and almost tasted stale. i had 2 bites of mine and threw it in the bin. also, $14.5 for 4 small meat balls in some average green sauce with small fries, give me a break. honestly mcdonald's is far superior to this and i wish the business good luck because producing this lucky to be average food quality in melbourne won't ensure a long and successful future

At the point of hitting proceed to check out i had order 4 meals however when my meals arrived i had only 3??! on looking over the price for my meals i was only charged for the 3 meals which is fine except for the fact that my colleagues all ate while i had to watch. i rang babu burgers and received a gentleman telling me to put myself in his position on him sending a $10 burger (burger actually cost $13.90) when the minimum was $20. my original order was $66.60. after talking with this gentleman for 5mins he finally agreed with hesitation that he would send the missing burger. this burger has not yet made it. looks like i could be late for my afternoon meeting. thank you online ordering systems.. i will call in future

The website accepted my order but i was phoned later to say that they couldn't deliver to my suburb, only after the burgers were made. after much argument they then tried to get me to pay $8 to have it delivered, even though the distance to my house was only 1 km further than their delivery area. then reduced it to $6 saying that '$2 was for his own pocket anyway'. we refused to pay the delivery fee and both agreed with the person on the phone not to go ahead with the order. i've been charged in full, and will be charging back the amount if it is not refunded. also... the payment page is not a secure site (https)!!! not very professional.

First of all, the delivery guy didn't have any change on him, but was very polite and apologetic about it. i ordered two burgers and a side of fries. my partner's chicken burger was good, juicy and nicely spiced. my beef burger number 5 would be good, if it wasn't over salted. as for the fries... they had so much salt over them that were practically inedible. i don't know if i will risk it again!

Visiting melbourne was told to try these guys, thought ok but expectations were not high. oh my god how wrong was i, the burgers were huge, so much variety and yummmmm. i had the 150 grm burger with maple bacon and camembert and it came with three different sauces on the side. if your from brisbane you will know what i'm going to say....this beats chur burgers in brisbane way by far...that's a big call by me to say but it's so true...try them if your visiting you will not be disappointed..

Really nice! - and deliver to parkville is great. bit of constructive feedback... the chips were a bit cold (it came in a chip box that cant be closed/sealed) and burger could of be warmer..but was good enough) cant complain given the distance nth melb to parkville and a burger/chips.. but maybe a solution could be had to keep the meal more warm for delivery.

Got a flyer in the mail for this babu burger place, so me and the housemate thought what the hell. little did we know that this was going to change our lives forever. picked some tasty burgers and some thick cut chips, paid over the net and bam! 30 mins later our delivery had arrived. so without further mucking about we tucked into a well presented, still piping hot open burger, with our chosen toppings staring at us in our faces in all its glory! we slapped both sides together and opened our mouths as far as they could go taking a gigantic mouthful of juicy, mouthwatering, perfectly cooked made to order burgers! from this moment on we looked at each other and could see that we both felt a divine power taking over that was, babu burgers.

delivery driver texting when i opened door, grunted something incoherent and shoved the bag in my hand barely making eye contact.
had to make up min $30 for delivery so ordered "custard" it was so watery i couldn't eat it.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the delicious burgers, but was disappointed to find that the chips were chewy. not exactly stale, but they didn't feel fresh either which i thought strange as we made and picked up our order before 6.
otherwise very impressed with turn around time and friendly staff. i will be returning and i hope that the dodgy chips were a one-off!

Got 2 burgers tonight; one vegetarian and one beef. the beef patty was really lumpy and dry, the bacon was over cooked and there wasn't any sauce on either buns. the vegetarian one came with a giant miscellaneous veggie patty that was about the size of two of the buns. the chips were average at best with sauce that tasted like foundation make-up. we both don't feel well after attempting to eat these overpriced, enormous (in a bad way), poorly constructed burgers. i highly do not recommend eating here! worst burger experience ever. i even threw the paper bags and half uneaten burgers into the outside bins because i didn't want any memory of the worst burgers i've ever laid my mouth on.

Our first online experience with these guys. when you order ask for a menu. food was brilliant, burgers are delivered in halves?build your own?add sauce and mayo. chicken was tender. if you order chips you have to expect steaming, just have your grill ready, they'll be awesome again in 8 mins. good effort!
