We ordered chips, potato cakes, fried dim sims, plain burger, chiko roll and fried flake.
everything was extremely hard that we could hardly bite it, even the chips were hard and chewy!
the plain burger was also a disappointment as the list did not specify that it had beetroot, i am allergic to beetroot, so i could not eat it.
unfortunately we had driven home before taking a look..
the only nice part was the flake.
i don't know how the reviews are so high, i was very disappointed with their food.

I always base my ratings of fish and chip shops by an order of flake and chips.
this shop provides excellent flake with a light batter and nicely salted. chips are above average.
there are limited tables and the owners don't seem to mind if you eat your order out of the paper at the tables.
the chime on the door may get a bit irriating if you are eating in. if you are staying in a holiday flat locally. take em back to the unit.

The best fish and chips, very fresh, the batter is great, we go there everytime we go to lakes. snack packs are great value and just awesome!
