If you want that authentic italian pizza and pasta head on down to anglesea pizza. i have been a local of pt roadknight for several years and have eaten in and had home delivery at least twice a month with good service. my favourite pasta is the lasagna with salad along with a great beer or the spaghetti bolagnese. i find the creamy pastas to rich so i tend to avoid these.
i would have to enjoy the avacado pizza the best, but i also enjoy a bbq meatlovers, aussie or any of the gourmet selection as well.
the guys seem like traditional italians with some nice looking waitresses over summer.
home delivery during the summer busy period and easter weekend can take over an hour, but thats o.k i just pre- book for a certain time and wait for the food to be delivered. other times its less than a 30 minute wait. likewise eating in over the tourist period can be hectic and busy in the restaurant. i've had the kids birthdays here and they love it. price is reasonable for what you get, which is great pizza and pasta that wouldn't be out of place in a little italian village along the mediterranean.
